Replace old electric poles in Ramban

The attention of Power Development Department is drawn towards replacing old electric poles in the village Charkruvan Batta Ramban.
There is urgent need to remove rotten wooden electric poles in the village which were installed some 40 years back. As these poles have lived their life, they are going to collapse any day and be the cause of any grave accident in the area. To avoid such an eventuality, it is necessary that these poles are replaced by cement poles at the earliest. To get the job done, a complaint in this regard was lodged in the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell vide No. 4496, dated 11.12.2013 and No. 63666 dated 20.04.2017. In this context, Executive Engineer Elect MRE Division Batote has submitted an estimate amounting to Rs 5.02 lacs and same was forwarded to Development Commissioner Power vide his office Letter No. CEJTS17405, dated 09.01.2014 for improvement of HTLT network in village Chakruvan, Batta in village Palli. Even after that no funds have been released for undertaking the job.
Therefore, it is urged to PDD authorities to sanction new 40 electric poles for the village at the earliest.

Start Parade-Gangyal matador service
We, the public of Gangyal want to draw the attention of the authorities towards lack of transport facilities in Gangyal from Green Leaf Banquet Hall to Parade, Narwal and Bagh-i-Bahu. There is neither auto or matador service available to visit these places. As a result, people particularly school going children, old aged people and employees working in various Government and private sectors suffer terribly. It becomes quite problematic during rainy and hot days to travel to other places due to non-availability of traffic.
It may be mentioned here that we have submitted numerous representation before the concerned authorities in this connection but to our disappointment nothing has been done so far.
Therefore, it is requested that a matador service be made available to the area so that public may not suffer any more.

Venisang-Baishty road in bad condition
It is sad state of affairs that link road leading to Venisang from Village Baishty is badly damaged and needs  extensive repairs including black topping. The matter was highlighted a number of times  but action from the concerned authorities is still awaited. The people of the area are not the only sufferers but  lot many visitors intending to visit temple complex at Vensiang have to cancel their schedule due to bad road conditions. The place is known for the halting of  marriage party of Lord Shiva  whose marriage was solemnized at Mantalai. Thus the place has its own religious significance  and authorities may consider the repair of road and black topping on priority.

Repair Shantnagar-Paloura road
Attention of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) is drawn towards the deplorable condition of Shantnagar-Paloura road. The road has become traffic unworthy due to a number of ditches that have developed all along its length. These ditches prove dangerous particularly during rainy season and during evening hours, particularly when there is no electricity in the area.
It is  requested to the JMC authorities to get this road black-topped for the convenience of road users of the area.

 Thandapani-Taryath road needs repairs
No area can achieve development and ensure progress and prosperity unless and until it enjoys a sound road connectivity. The condition of the road, mentioned above, is self explanatory if one happens to travel on it. Badly broken with pits  and ditches everywhere, is inexplainable uncomfortable and risky to travel on. The rainy season further aggrevates its plight, if needful isn’t done on priority. As all sort of economic, and educational activities are dependant on better road connectivity and condition, need for an early repair of the road can’t be overemphasised. Therefore, the concerned MLA who always remains engaged for mitigation of hardships of the public, will surely cast a sight by travelling on it and do the needful. The roads are heartlines of any area and particularly the rural areas, where all other facilities are generally lacking deserve to be maintained for all seasons. But it is the tragedy of the system of governance that the areas where 70 percent of the population dwells are generally remains ignored.
