KISHTWAR, May 28: The residents of Village Kuleed have expressed serious concern over acute shortage of drinking water.
Various social and political organization of Village Kuleed have approached time and again to the Jal Shakti Department to supply drinking water to the residents but it is a matter of great concern that no heed was paid to the repeated requests made to the department.
A social activist of the area Upasana Sharma Bhandari said that the residents have been forced to fetch drinking water after covering a long distance and sometimes the residents used to fetch drinking from Shiv Mandir situated at Bun Kuleed.
She demanded supply of drinking water so that people may not suffer anymore.
