JAMMU, May 11: Residents of SharikaVihar, Lower Roop Nagar led Suresh Khajuria, Muthi-Paloura Mandal, president, BJP staged a protest demonstration against the PHE Department for its failure to provide regular drinking water supply in the area.
Suresh Khajuria, while addressing protestors said that people are facing problems due to shortage of drinking water for a long time and agitating residents were demanding the immediate restoration of the water supply.
The protesters raised slogans against the authorities and demanded immediate restoration of water supply in the area.
Public also threatened to march to the office of Chief Engineer, PHE Department if their problem is not resolved immediately.
