JAMMU, Oct 29: A monthly meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum was held here today under the chairmanship of State president Vinod Sharma and Provincial President Rajesh Jamwal.
The meeting was attended by the district presidents and executive members of the Forum, who discussed all the issues and demands of the ReTs.
While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma said that transfer policy for regularized ReTs has not been implemented by the Government till date, even as High Court has given clear cut instructions that regularized ReTs should be transferred within the District and the Government can’t make a differentiation with them. He also projected the issue of streamlining of SSA salary and release of pending arrears of the regularized ReTs since 2014 who have been suffering badly and waiting for the same patiently. He appealed the Education Minister to resolve these issues of the ReT cadre so that they may not suffer any more.
Provincial President Rajesh Jamwal, while speaking on the occasion, demanded the regularization of ReTs and EVs whose files for regularization are lying in the Directorate of School education Jammu for a long time. He also demanded the release of Mid Day Meals dues which are pending for last one year and also demanded grant of post facto permission in favour of ReTs whose files are lying in the offices of Chief Education Officers of Jammu province.
