ReT Teachers Forum calls on Secy School Edu, Director Samagra

JAMMU, Feb 21: A delegation of JK ReT Teachers Forum headed by its Senior Vice Chairman, Bhupinder Singh called on Secretary School Education, Ajit Kumar Sahu at Civil Secretariat here and apprised him about the problems being faced by ReTs.
The demands included implementation of 7th Pay Commission in favour of Undergraduate Teachers, regularization process of those Rets whose regularization files are already submitted in the Directorate offices, implementation of 7th Pay Commission in favour of all SSA teachers from January 2016 and release of pending salary of teachers from October 2018.
After giving a patient hearing to the representatives of Forum, Secretary School Education Ajit Kumar Sahu said that Undergraduate ReTs, who have already enhanced their qualifications will be considered for Teacher Grade and the problems of undergraduate Rets will be redressed at an earliest.
Secretary School Education also said that regularization process will start after March 2019 and all pending salary from October 2018 will be released before February 28, 2019.
Representatives of forum also called on Director Samagra Arun Manhas and apprised him about the pending salaries of ReTs from the month of October 2018 and Director Samagra said that salary for the month of October will be credited in the account of Chief Education Officers today.
Those who were present in the delegation included Muzaffar Wani, Mushtaq Malik, Pritam Dhiman, Pawan Kumar, Inderjeet Singh, Ravikant Sharma and Amandeep Singh.
