UDHAMPUR, Feb 1: Demanding release of pending salary under SSA, All J&K ReT Teachers Forum  held a protest demonstration during its monthly meeting at Udhampur under the chairmanship of State president Vinod Sharma and District president Lekh Raj Parihar.

He said that despite repeatedly apprising the Government of their grievance, nothing has been done in this regard. “Still the SSA salary is pending for the last 4-10 months, which is a matter of great concern as these ReT teachers are facing a lot of problems to meet out their basic family needs and are on the verge of starvation,” he added.
He also informed that protest demonstrations will be held at all the district headquarters on February 12  to press the Government for early release of pending SSA salary and memorandums of demands would be submitted to the Governor through respective Deputy Commissioners on that day.
Others, who also spoke on the occasion, included  Sham Sharma, Sukhdev Singh, Sukesh Khajuria, Pritam Goswami, Ravinder Singh, Samsher Singh, Pawan Sharma, Sandeep Sharma, Vipin Sharma, Susheel Singh, Anil Sharma, Bandhana, Sunita Devi, Sansar Chand and  Suresh Sharma.
