JAMMU, Mar 2: A warm farewell was accorded to Chief Horticulture Officer, Ramban, Manzoor Ahmad, who retired today on attaining the age of superannuation after serving the department for more than 34 years.
A simple but impressive function was organized to give him a warm send off, which was chaired by Director Horticulture, Jammu, JN Sharma.
All the officers present on the occasion wished him a happy post retirement life.
An affectionate farewell was accorded to Chauffer of District Information Centre, Poonch, on his retirement from the service.
In this regard a simple but impressive function was organized in Media Complex, Poonch, where various officers and officials of District Information Centre and District Treasury Office appreciated the 28 years dedicated and unblemished service rendered by Singh.
All present on the occasion prayed for his healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
