Retirees accorded warm send off

JAMMU, Feb 28: Chief Secretary, B V R Subrahmanyam today hosted a simple but impressive farewell function to bid adieu to Mohammad Saleem Shishgar, Commissioner/ Secretary, Department of Culture on his attaining superannuation.
Several Administrative Secretaries and senior officers attended the function. Administrative Secretaries remembered their association with the colleague and shared some of their past memories. The Chief Secretary lauded the contribution of the officer on completing his service with dedication and wished the officer success in all his future endeavors.
A warm send-off was accorded to Mohammad Shafi Dar, Deputy Secretary, Horticulture Department at a function held today. Principal Secretary, Horticulture Department, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon and the Administrative staff of Horticulture Department attended the function. The services rendered by Dar in various capacities were recalled by the speakers. The officer attained superannuation after rendering 32 years of service.
Hari Krishan Razdan, Director Agriculture, Jammu along with other retiring officer namely Satish Kumar Bhagat, Subject Matter Specialist (DL), Jammu was given a very warm and affectionate send off at Krishi Bhawan. Bulesh Zutshi, Joint Director of Agriculture (Inputs) complimented Razdan and Satish Kumar Bhagat for rendering dedicated and valuable services and wished a very happy and prosperous post retirement life.
Police Headquarters organized an impressive farewell to Gowhar Hussain Mir, Joint Director Prosecution PHQ, who superannuated today. Dilbag Singh, Director General of Police, J&K, AG Mir, ADGP (Hqrs) PHQ, SD Singh Jamwal, IGP (CIV) PHQ, Director Prosecution PHQ, SM Kapoor, AIGsP of PHQ and other officers were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, the DGP appreciated services of Gowhar Hussain during his long service career. He said contribution of Gowhar in the department will be remembered in the future.
Director Colleges J&K, Zahoor Ahmad Chatt was today accorded warm send off at a function held in Government College for Women, Ghandhi Nagar. Commissioner Secretary, Higher Education, Sushma Chouhan, while appreciating the services of Chatt, wished him a prosperous post retirement life. She said that the retiring officer proved himself as a distinguished academician and an able administrator during his career.
SSP Ashok Kumar, Principal, Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur organized a farewell party in the premises of the Institute in connection with retirement of SSP Savita Parihar, Vice Principal, PTTI Vijaypur. SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) accorded an emotive/ warm farewell to Dr Ramesh Kumar Bali, Professor & Head, Division of Sericulture, on his superannuation after rendering distinguished services of 32 years.
Vice Chancellor Dr Pradeep K Sharma, while appreciating Dr Bali’s contributions in research and extension, wished him a very healthy and prosperous post-retired life. President, Teaching Association, Dr Vikas Sharma and advisors/office bearers also wished Dr Bali a happy life after retirement.
A warm send off was today accorded to Khursheed Ahmed Sheikh, ZEO Doda on his retirement. The farewell function was organized at Tak Residency, Doda.
