JAMMU, May 19: A deputation of J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum, led by State president Vinod Sharma, today called on Director School Education Jammu, Rakesh Sangral and discussed with him various burning issues of ReT cadre.
The Forum discussed the issue of regularization of ReTs/Education Volunteers whose files are lying in the Directorates for a long time, release of SSA salary for last three months and streamlining of the same by delinking and bringing the SSA posts under State plan, as there is also a huge pendency of arrears of ReTs regularized since 2014 onwards due to their late regularisation.
The Forum also demanded transfer policy for regularized ReTs as per High Court judgment and as promised and announced by then Education Minister (Altaf Bukhari on the floor of the House.
Demanding that DDO powers of ZEO Thathri be given to ZEPO Thathri or Principal as the Headmaster HS Thathri who was allegedly, harassing the teachers and unnecessarily delaying their dues.
The Director after giving a patient hearing to the deputation, assured that he will go through all the grievances and come up with immediate resolution including regularization and other issues.
Others who were part of the deputation, included Rajesh Jamwal, Sham Sharma, Sukesh Khajuria, Subash Chander, Ravinder Rathore , Ravinder Singh Dinesh Singh, Harun, Manzoor Malik, Manohar Chowdhary, Vishal Sharma, Ranjit Singh, Pawan Dev , Vinod Kumar, Raj Mohan Singh, Sunil and Rajinder Sharma.
