JAMMU, Nov 17: Jammu and Kashmir Agricultural Technocrats Association has reiterated its demand for regularization of all Rehbar-e-Zerats who have completed seven year of continuous service.
The demand has been raised in a memorandum submitted by the JKATA to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Urging the Chief Minister to include the demand for one time settlement of ReZ in the agenda of scheduled Cabinet meeting tomorrow, the JKATA hoped that the Government would regularize all Rehber-e-Zerat in one go who have served the Department for the last seven years without any break.
While giving details, JKATA president Surinder Radotra claimed that the Government policy for regularization in three phases was killing basics of the policy for Rehber-e-Ziraat as the scheme was implemented in year 2007 whereas the skilled Agriculture Technocrats were sitting idle since 1996 as no recruitment was done in Agriculture Department since then.
When the need based employees and casual labours in various departments are regularized for serving 7 years of continuous service, then why the highly professional degree holders (ReZ) should be regularization in nine years, he asked while addressing a meeting of JKATA.
The meeting was attended by Randir Singh, Sakeel Kazee, Esharat Ah Rahtore, Joginder Singh, Abhimanyn Mahajan, Maneet Singh, Rajiv Singh Chib, Jatinder Verma, Anirud Bhat, Rajinder Singh Jasrotia, Anil Kumar Gupta, Vinod Kumar, Sohal Annis Mir, Satvinder Singh and Ravinder Singh.
