RGCN students placed in Medanta, Apollo

JAMMU, June 11: Hundred percent pass out nursing students of Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing (RGCN) have been placed in prestigious hospitals like Apollo, Medanta and SKIMS prior to the completion of their course.
This was stated by the chairman of the college. He further added that at present the intake capacity of the college is 50 seats out of which 42 seats are filled up through University counseling and remaining eight seats are filled up by the college management.
He said that growing demand for the profession is creating a lot of awareness among the students and many reputed organizations are coming forward to recruit students of this profession at a handsome salary.
“Moreover there is great scope for this profession in International Market and a lot of the total students pass out in whole country are getting placed in abroad”, he added.
