JAMMU, Apr 29: Rich Harvest School hosted Pegasus MUN, which was inaugurated by chief guest BR Sharma-IAS (Retd.) and Presiding Officer, Gulchain Singh Charak- former Minister R&B and Higher Education, here today.
The illustrious guests including Vice-Chairperson Uma Katal, Managing Director Advocate Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Director Ruchi Charak and Principal Anita Bhatia lit the ceremonial lamp to invoke blessings of ‘Maa Saraswati’ for the successful culmination of the three days mega event.
The dignitaries were accorded a warm welcome by the School Principal. The host School students enthralled the audience with a thought provoking melodious song on ‘Parivartan’ and divinity on earth was beautifully captured via ‘Raas Lila’ eulogizing the childhood antics of Lord Krishna in Vrindavan.
The Managing Director in a motivating speech applauded the efforts of the executive board of Pegasus for offering an excellent platform to the youngsters for honing their communication and leadership skills.
The chief guest congratulated the participants for taking full advantage of globalization and readily available information to strengthen their diplomatic and life skills. He hoped that like Pegasus the young leaders would fly into imagination to produce immortal work.
The Presiding Officer admired and appreciated the efforts of former RHS Head Boy Abhijay Singh Charak and his team for having organized a mega event of such magnitude.
In a majestic ceremony gavels were presented by the distinguished guests to the Committee Chairpersons, Co- Chairpersons.
Secretary General of Pegasus Abhijay declared the Pegasus MUN Conference open amidst thunderous applause.
