RIDF distributes cash prizes among meritorious students

JAMMU, Feb 13: Rural India Development Front (RIDF) today distributed Majua Shashi-Prem Vashishth cash prize among the meritorious students of Government High School, Majua, tehsil Bishnah.
The Headmaster of the School, Jagdish Sharma presented the welcome address and also highlighted the achievements of the students in curricular and co-curricular activities.
Advocate Suhasni Vashishth, president of Urban-Rural India Development Front while speaking said that Prem Vashishth belongs to village Majua and is presently working in MNC. She reflected upon the vision with which Prem Vashishth has reached the heights and his determination to serve the nation, especially the people of his own village.
The emphasis was also given to the proper implementation of Swach Bharat Abhiyan Campaign launched by Prime Minister and to make India a clean and better Nation.
B.D Sharma, Surya Prakash Sharma, Sarpanch, Bishan Das Sharma and Kartar Chand were guests who distributed the cash prizes among the meritorious students.
Shivani Sharma of Class 10th was awarded with Rs 4000 for securing 403/500 marks, while, toppers of class 9th Rushika Rani and Vishu Sharma of class 8th were awarded with Rs 1000 whereas toppers-Sheenu Sharma and Tanya Sharma of class 7th and Kartik of class 6th and Roshan Lal of class 5th were awarded with Rs.500 as cash prize respectively.
Prominent among others who were present on the occasion were Advocate Nikhil Chowdary, Shasahnk Vashishth, Bhavishya Sudan, Sardari Lal, Sukh Dev, Yash Pal, Sardari Sharma, Kuldeep Raj and Tarsem Lal.
