JAMMU, Dec 7: J&K Rifle Association today chalked out planning for revival of shooting sports activities in Jammu and Kashmir in a meeting, held at Hari Niwas Palace, here today.
The meeting was attended by all office bearers including president, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal; general secretary, Amjad Parvez Mirza; treasurer SS Sodhi and vice president, Sharat Chander Singh.
This meeting was a precursor of annual general meeting of National Rifle Association of India which is scheduled to be held virtually on December 12.
It was decided that all the affiliated District Associations and Clubs will resume their activities by following all precautions and protocols of COVID-19 pandemic. It was also decided that District Championships will be conducted just after State championship which is scheduled to be organised in last week of the December. “Immediately after the State championships, special coaching camps will also be organized for the selected shooters,” they said.
They also informed that all above mentioned office bearers would also attend “Annual General Meeting of National Rifle Association of India” to discuss the activities of the Federation for the session 2020-21.
