JAMMU, Dec 10: Rising Star Cricket Club trounced Elite Cricket Club by 10 runs in first match of KC Sports Club Under -19 Tournament, played at KC Sports Club Ground, here today.
Rising Star CC won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first Rising Star CC made 159 runs in stipulated 20 overs. Arjun Singh made 64 runs, whereas Aryan Dassi made 32 runs. From bowling side, Avinash took two wickets, while Laith, Sourav and Varun clinched one wicket each.
While chasing the target, Elite CC bundled at 149 runs. Avinash, Paras and Ashutosh contributed 45, 39 and 24 runs respectively. From bowling side, Kaif bagged two wickets, whereas Areen and Aryan clinched one wicket each.
Arjun Singh of Rising Star CC was declared as Man of the Match. The match was officiated by Ashok Singh, Sanjog Singh and Jarnail Singh.
