UDHAMPUR, Nov 13: Rising Star Cricket Club defeated Lakshya Cricket Academy by 8 wickets in the Under-17 Cricket Tournament at Subash Stadium, here.
Toss was won by Lakshya Cricket Academy which elected to bat first. The Club scored 162 runs all out in 36 overs.  Avinash bharti remained unbeaten on 54 runs in 69 balls with 10 boundaries. Ashank Bandral scored 37 in 34 balls; Uday scored 33 runs in 32 balls.
Mukul Dubey grabbed 04 wickets. Manik Kotwal took 2 wickets, Ranveer and Reshav Sharma from Rising Star Cricket Club took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Rising Star Cricket Club won the match by 8 wickets. Reshav Sharma was the highest scorer with 64 runs from 73 balls and hit 7 boundaries. Shivansh Sharma chipped in with 34 in 56 balls, Saksham Thappa scored 32 runs in 43 balls and Rajvir Singh scored 6 runs (not out) in 5 balls with one boundary.
Reshav Sharma from Rising Star Club was declared man of the match for his innings of 64 runs.
Chander Sharma, vice chairman JKCA Jammu wing was the chief guest on the occasion.
