JAMMU, Oct 7: Ritvik Gupta and Nitya emerged winners of Cadet’s boys and girls and lifted titles by defeating Gurasees and Tuheen by 3-0 each, while Ragini also lifted Sub-junior girls title by beating Mishti by 3-1 in the ongoing 44th Stag J&K UT and Inter-District Table Tennis Championships, here today.
In Men’s 2nd round, Ritvik beat Arya by 3-0, Rajan defeated Pranav Khajuria by 3-0, Maanay trounced Sandeep Luthra by 3-0, Saksham got better of Basit Bir by 3-0, Jishnu beat Abid Asad by 3-0, Jayesh trounced Qazi by 3-0, Faisal defeated Nitin by 3-1, Sandeep got better of Mohd Saqib by 3-1, Mehboob Elahi beat Rohan by 3-1 and Manan beat Akshit by 3-0.
In Men’s Pre quarter finals, Ritvik got better of Rajan by 3-1, Maanay beat Saksham by 3-0, Jayesh trounced Jishnu by 3-1, Manan defeated Mehboob Elahi by 3-0 and Akhilesh got better of Anuj by 3-2.
In Junior boys under-17 1st round, Akhilesh beat Madhav by 3-0, Archit trounced Mir Naveed by 3-0, Rudraksh beat Pratham Suri by 3-1, Ayush got better of Akshit by 3-2, Sarthak drubbed Shoaib by 3-0, Pranav defeated Aditya by 3-2, Lakshay trounced Hiteshwar by 3-0 and Amit beat Madhav by 3-1.
In Junior boys under-19 1st round, Zaffar drubbed Pranav Chadha by 3-0, Sarthak beat Mohd Sakib by 3-0, Rohan trounced Varun by 3-1, Prince beat Akshit by 3-2, Ritvik got better of Rakshan by 3-1, Maanay defeated Madhav by 3-0, Hanumat beat Qadri by 3-0 and Raagdeep beat Jashn.
