RKFC hosts AIFF’s U-15 Junior League in Srinagar

SRINAGAR, Apr 7: Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) is hosting the U-15 Junior League 2024-25, with two exciting matches played at TRC Ground here today. Organized by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), the league features several U-15 teams from across the country.
In the first match, Inter Kashi faced Delhi FC, with Delhi FC securing a dominant 7-0 victory. In the second match, Sreenidi Deccan FC defeated Corbett FC in another well-contested game.
The RKFC management, with support from various Government departments, including the J&K Sports Council, has ensured all necessary arrangements for the successful hosting of the tournament.
Real Kashmir FC’s U-15 team will play their first match against Sreenidi Deccan FC on April 9. RKFC has been hosting I-League matches for several years and recently organized its latest I-League match against Churchill Brothers, attended by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
RKFC remains the only team from the region competing in the I-League and continues to promote football at the grassroots level. The club is owned by Arshid Shawl.
