RM College of Education celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Nov 17: RM College of Education, Sainik Colony Chowadhi celebrated Annual Day with pomp and show.
On the occasion, Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla was the chief guest, while, Lalit Magotra, president, Dogri Sanstha presided over the function. Abdul Hamid was the guests of honour.
Chairman of the College Shri Rameshwar Mengi presented the welcome address, while, PK Dhar, Principal presented the annual report highlighting the achievements of the students in various curriculum and co-curriculum activities.
On the occasion, students presented various cultural items including Punjabi Folk dance, solo dance and skit, which were highly appreciated by the audience.
Raman Bhalla along with other dignitaries released the 5th edition of the College Magazine “Dev Disha” and also presented certificates and awards to the meritorious students.
While speaking, Bhalla asked the teachers to lay stress on imbibing moral values among the students to help them to become responsible citizens.
Lalit Magotra laid stress on the need of moral education and role of a teacher in crafting the personality of student.
Abdul Hamid applauded the efforts of management and faculty members in grooming the pupil teachers in the right direction.
At the end, Trustee of the College Rita Mengi presented vote of thanks.
