JAMMU, Jan 24: RM Public School organized Annual Day Function at the Auditorium of Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, here today. Former Minister Ch. Lal Singh was the chief guest on the occasion, while MLA RS Pura and Political Advisor to State BJP President, Dr Gagan Bhagat presided over the Function.
While speaking on the occasion, Lal Singh praised the school management for organizing the function and stressed on maintaining the cultural values among the student fraternity and community participation, while Dr.Gagan Bhagat congratulated the girl students in particular on the occasion of “National Girl Child day”.
The dignitaries also thanked the management of the school for promoting Dogra culture in Annual Day events, which will keep the culture.
Later-on, prizes were distributed among the meritorious students and the students who have participated and bagged state level positions in sports and cultural fields.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Principal of GCW Gandhi Nagar, Kiran Bakshi, Chairman of the RM Memorial Trust,Rameshwar Mengi, Ajay Pargal, S Paramjeet Singh, Ex-Corporator and Vice Chairman of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Roma Wani, teachers, parents of students, students and management of RM Public School.
