JAMMU, May 9: To mark the completion of 33 glorious years of dedicated service in the field of education, RN Tagore Higher Secondary School, Nanak Nagar celebrated its foundation day.
On the occasion, an impressive and vibrant function was organized by the institution at its campus.
Chairman of the school Vishno Devi was the chief guest on the occasion.
The programme was witnessed by huge gathering of students of different classes along with the staff members, members of Managing Committee, Principal and other prominent citizens of the locality.
On the occasion, Display Your Talent Competition was organised. Students from different classes participated in various categories including Art-Craft, Dancing, Singing, Painting, Sketch Making, Debate, Poem Recitation, Clay Modelling, Handwriting, Mimicry etc. Tiny toddlers of the school won the hearts of every one with their impressive poems and actions.
A cultural programme was performed by girls of different classes.
Tushar Gupta of Class 10th and Akansha Tiwari of Class 9th jointly shared first prize in Art-Craft category; Radhika Sharma of Class 9th, Anubhav of Class 9th, Samriti Verma of Class 9th, Padma Namgal of Class 7th, Pratush Gupta of Class Ist, Zoya of Class 4th, Khushi of Class 9th and Majida of Class 9th were the winners of Dancing, Singing, Painting, Sketch Making, Poem Recitation, Handwriting and debate competition.
Ashish Kumar, Bushra, Rajat Kumar, Jyoti Kumari, Mannat Jogi, Vasu Mehra, Diksha Mehra, Henna, Sukriti Sharma and Palak won second and third prizes.
