JAMMU, Oct 7: National Premier League (NPL), a five-day cricket tournament organized by National Incredible Literacy Mission, J&K, concluded today at Nagrota.
The final match of the tournament was played between Nagrota Kings and Roaring Lions, which was won by Roaring Lions, who beat Nagrota Kings by 9 wickets.
Rameshwar Dutt Sharma, Sarpanch, Nagrota, was the chief guest on the occasion. He awarded trophy to the winning team. He also awarded other individual awards among the best performers.
Speaking on the occasion, he said these tournaments help in inculcating moral values like brotherhood, nationalism, socialism and sportsmanship among the youth.
