JAMMU, Aug 21: Police today arrested two thieves involved in a robbery case registered with Kalyanpuri Police Station, New Delhi.
A police spokesman said that, on specific information, police party from Bakshi Nagar Police Station led by SHO Dileep Singh under the supervision of SDPO West Shabir Khan arrested two persons, who were involved in a robbery case registered with Kalyanpuri Police Station, New Delhi.
He said that the accused identified as Parveen Kumar, son of Rattan Lal of Gurha, Bakshi Nagar and Parshotam Kumar, son of Krishan Lal, resident of Vikas Nagar, Sarwal robbed a “Duster” car from a person by showing him gun in the area, falling under the Kalyanpuri Police Station, New Delhi.
As the accused were heading the vehicle towards Jammu, it met with an accident at Chandigarh and was seized by the police there, he said, adding that the duo fled from the spot and were arrested here today.
The accused were also involved in various FIRs registered with Bakshi Nagar Police Station, he said, adding that both were handed over to Delhi Police for further investigation.
