JAMMU, Dec 18: A new team of Young Lawyers Association Jammu was elected today.
Advocate Rohit Sharma is new President, Advocate Gagandeep Singh (Lucky) Vice President, Advocate Yaseer Farooq Khan General Secretary, Karanjeet Singh Joint Secretary and Naresh Kumar Treasurer.
According to the Returning Officer Nitin Bakshi, for President post, Rohit Sharma secured 227 votes, Arjun Manhas secured 157 votes and Ajay Kumar 99 votes as such Rohit Sharma was declared as new President of Young Lawyers Association.
For Vice President post, Gagandeep Singh secured 314 votes whereas Pawan Bandral secured 168 votes. For the post of General Secretary Yaseer Farooq Khan secured 313 votes, Jyotsna Ved 94 votes and Satwant Singh secured 77 votes.
Out of total 633 votes, 484 were polled.
