JAMMU, Aug 8: To prepare the probable for Senior Nationals to be held at Surat in Gujarat, the Jammu and Kashmir Rollball Association is holding Pre-National Camp from August 10, 2019 at MA Stadium, here.
According to a handout issued here the 10 days Camp will conclude on August 19, 2019.
“The Camp will be held from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm on each day. The already selected probable will take part in the Camp to hone their skill under the experts before the commencement of the Senior Nationals,” handout added.
The Camp will be held under the overall supervision of technical experts including Madhu Sharma, Sudhir Singh and Vaishali Bhogal.
It is pertinent to mention here that the 17th Senior National Rollball Championship for men and women will be held under the auspices of Rollball Federation of India at Surat from August 22 to 25, 2019.
“Jammu and Kashmir has emerged as champion at All India Level Senior Nationals more than once. Moreover, a good number of State Rollball players have represented the country at the International Level. Some players from J&K have been part of the Indian team which was crowned champion in Asian Rollball Championship at Dhaka in Bangladesh,” said senior official of the Association.
