JAMMU, Oct 10: District Roller Skating Championship concluded here today, wherein Divisional Sports Officer, Ashok Singh was the chief guest of the closing ceremony.
The chief guest distributed prizes among the winners.
More than 300 boys and girls took part in a three days event which was organised under the banner of “My Youth My Pride”.
President of the J&K Roller Skating Association GS Khurmi in his message expressed his satisfaction with the successful conduct of the event and promised some more championships/competitions in future endeavours.
-In Roller Hockey Masters: Roller Athlete Skating Club won Gold and the team members were: Ankush Kohli, Ritesh Gupta, Sanjeev Kumar, Gagan Singh Jamwal, Sourab Bakshi, Ramneesh Sharma and Krish Gupta, while Silver medal was won by Addiction RHC. In senior men’s Roller Hockey: Hockey Club Classico won Gold and team members were: Jugraaj Singh, Jatin Sabarwal, Ankush Gupta, Rupinder Paul Singh, Darpan Gargotra, Shivank Sharma and Uday Singh Jamwal, while Silver medal was won by Shiva RHC.
In Senior Men’s Inline Hockey: Shiva Club won the Gold and team members were: Tarun Gandotra, Dhruv Pant, Hiteshwar Singh, Dixit Gupta, Sahil Gupta, Rakshak Jandial, Varun Anand and Jaswinder and Silver medal was won by Phoenix Hockey Club and Bronze medal was won by Indian Club. In Junior Boys Roller Hockey: Roller Athlete Skating Club won Gold and the Silver medal was won by Hockey Club Classico. In Junior Girls Roller Hockey: Gold Medal was won by Hockey Club Classico “A” and Silver Medal won by Hockey Club Classico “B”.
In Sub Junior Boys Roller Hockey: Roller Athlete Skating Club ‘A’ won Gold, while Silver medal was won by Roller Athlete Skating Club ‘B’ and Bronze medal was won by Hockey Club Classico. In Sub Junior Girls Roller Hockey: Hockey Club Classico won Gold and Silver Medal was won by Roller Athlete Skating Club. In Cadet Boys Roller Hockey: Roller Athlete Skating Club won the Gold and Silver Medal was won by Hockey Club Classico. In Cadet Girls Roller Hockey: Roller Athlete Skating Club won the Gold and Silver medals won by Hockey Club Classico.
In Scooter event: Above 17 years men’s: Abhinav Anand won Gold medal. In Artistic 5-7 years boys: Aayan Sharma won Gold and In 11-14 years Girls: Ishanvi Soni won Gold and Ishani Soni won Silver.
In Speed 5-7 years Boys: Ismail Hayat Mattoo won 1 Gold, Burhan Zargar won 1 Gold and 1 Bronze, Neevan Mehta and Abheek Digra won 1 Silver each and Shiva Gupta won 1 Bronze. In 5-7 years girls: Aayraa Vashishth won 2 Gold, Aarghya Rajput won 2 Silver, Samaira Gandotra and Pragya Sharma won 1 Bronze each. In 7-9 years boys: Gurtej Singh won 2 Gold, Rudraksh Singh Bhau won 2 Silver and Riansh Sharma won 2 Bronze. In 7-9 years girls: Anshika Thakur won 2 Gold, Pragun Kour won 2 Silver and Pari Gupta won 1 Bronze. In 9-11 years boys: Abhyudha Singh Salathia won 1 Gold and 1 Silver, Viraaj Gandotra won 1 Gold and 1 Bronze, Ayan Khan won 1 Silver and 1 Bronze.
In 9-11 years girls: Aahan Gupta 2 Gold, Sugandh Mahajan 2 Silver and Anandini Sharma won 2 Bronze. 11-14 years boys: Puneesh Puri won 1 Gold and 1 Bronze, Arnav Singh Slathia won 2 Silver and Abhinav Bakshi won 1 Gold and 1 Bronze. In 11-14 years girls: Tamana Saini won 2 Gold. Prageet Kaur won 1 Silver and 1 Bronze and Saanvi Grover won 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. In 14-17 years boys: Rajveer Singh won 1 Gold and 1 Silver, Udhay Narayan Sharma won 2 Bronze.
In 14-17 years girls: Pratyaksha Gupta won 2 Gold, Shrnaya Sharma won 2 Silver and Nivriti Sharma won 2 Bronze. In the above 17 years boys: Kartikeya Puri won 2 Gold, Suryabhaskar won 2 Silver and Shayan Chauhan won 2 Bronze and in the above 17 years girls: Diya Rajput won 2 Gold and Shine Mahajan won 2 Silver. In Master above 35 years: Sudesh Kumar won 2 Gold and Seema Kharyal won 2 Gold.
In Speed Inline 5-7 years boys: Pavit Gupta won 2 Gold, Viraansh Gupta won 1 Silver and 1 Bronze, Karanvir won 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. In 7-9 years boys: Tabish Haider Chib won 2 Gold, Mridul Jungral won 2 Silver and Kavin Arigam won 2 Bronze and in 7-9 years girls: Meera Ashish Tawade won 2 Gold, Ainoor Gohar Dar won 1 Silver and 1 Bronze and Vaidehi Mahajan won 1 Silver. In 9-11 years boys: Aarav Sharma won 1 Gold, Medhansh Sawhney won 1 Gold and 1 Silver and Reyansh Abrol won 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. In 9-11 years girls: Kannan Raina won 2 Gold, Aaira won 2 Silver and Deeva won 2 Bronze. In 14-17 years girls: Diya Dogra won 2 Gold and In 17 plus years girls: Vanshdeep Kour won 2 Gold.
