JAMMU, June 30: A deputation of Roop Nagar Bantalab Enclave Block B unit of Jammu Welfare Organisation led by its president Kasturi Lal Gupta met Chief Engineer M&RE, Shanaz Gooni here and apprised her of low voltage problem being faced by the residents of the area of Roop Nagar Enclave-B particularly Lane 2 A.
The delegation also informed the Chief Engineer about the worn out conductor, panels and thimbles in the area and deteriorating condition of existing transformer in the area which develops snag often.
The Chief Engineer, passed immediate instructions to Executive Engineer Division IInd for redressal of grievances. The delegation expressed its gratitude to Chief Engineer. Other members of the delegation included Ashok Kapoor working president JWO, its general secretary Gopal Sharma, J P Chada, B L Bhat, P L Raina, S S Jasrotia, Ramesh Bhat, Chander Uppal, M K Wattal, A K Bhan, Ashok Koul and A B Zalpuri.
