JAMMU, Aug 3: To inculcate the idea of helping our society through the concept of service, Rotary Club of Jammu City held its orientation meet at Asia Hotel, here today.
DIG Crime, Johnny Williams was the chief guest on the occasion, who highlighted the necessity of peace at society, national and international levels in the present era.
The Rotarians pledged to endeavour for peace and conflict resolution.
On the occasion, the chief guest also installed new Rotary president, Rajat Singh and new Interact president, Anitt Kaur.
Club president Rtn. Sanjeev Vaid spoke on the need of cultivating service attitude among the young people.
Prominent among speakers were Prem Shankar Singh, Harbans Singh, Robin Singh ,Mehta, Dr Gaurav Vaid, Addep Singh Mehta, Gurdev Singh, Deepak Baboo and Ravinder Kaul.
