RAJOURI, Aug 3: Rotary Club Rajouri conducted its 7th installation ceremony of the new president and his team for the year 2014-15 in a gala function held at Dak bungalow, here.
Sanjay Kumar Puri was installed as president of Club who took charge from outgoing president Rakesh Gupta.
Chief guest, Jitender Kumar Singh (DDC Rajouri) and Anoop Gupta (Assistant Governor RID 3070) installed and collared the new president Sanjay Puri who is also District Informatics Officer Rajouri. Rotary District 3070 Chairman Community Service, K K Langer and Zonal Chairman, Prem Shankar presided over the function.
Assistant Governor RID 3070, Ashish Langer performed as master of ceremony and introduced the new elected board members for the Club who included Amardeep Singh as Secretary, Vishal Gupta as Treasurer, Amandeep as ‘Sergeant in Arm’ and new elected directors were Sadiq Khan, Umesh Sharma, Dr Yash Karsyal, Lokesh Bakshi, Prof Haqeeqat Singh and Rafiq Mir.
Awards were also conferred to the outstanding members of the Rotary Club Rajouri who provided humanitarian service, encouraged high ethical standards in all vocations, and helped build goodwill and peace in the community.
