SAMBA, July 20: The Rotary Club Jammu in association with M/s Jamkash Trucking Private Limited organised a Blood donation camp in the premises of the latter at Vijaypur.
The camp was organized under the presidentship of Dr Anil K Amla and inaugurated by Sunil Nagpal, District Governor, Rotary International, District 3070, in the presence of Vikas Baroka, Chief Operating Officer of M/s Jamkash Trucking and GM of the Company. The staff of the company and district treasurer of Rotary Club Ajay Sharma was also present.
Vikas Baroka, COO of the Company along with GM of the Company were the first blood donors of the camp. The Project Director of the camp, Sunil Kumar Sawhney said that almost all staff members of the company including the staff of other branches were the blood donors in the camp. More than 35 units of blood were collected on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikas Baroka assured that such camps will be organised in other branches of the company soon. Dr Anil K Amla assured the COO that a mega super speciality medical camp will be organised in the premises of the Company very soon for the benefit of the staff and their families.
Staff of Blood Bank of GMC, especially Dr Meena, HoD, was also present in the camp.
Besides a good gathering, Rotarians Baljit Singh, Prem Shanker, Gaurav Vaid, Harbans Singh, Dr Navneet Gupta, Aman Sharma, Sanjay Sachdeva, Deepak Baboo, Sushil Singhal, Rajat Singh, Kuldip Singh, Sat Pal Verma and Abhishek Sachdeva were also present.
