Royal beats Garden in finals, lifts title

DODA, Oct 18: Royal Bhalessa defeated Garden Bhalessa in the finals of the India @75 Cricket Tournament, organized by Sahayak Humanity Charitable Trust (SHCT) and lifted the title trophy, here today.
A total of 87 teams participated in the tournament from all over Bhalessa. The final match was played between Garden and Royal.
Batting first, Garden Bhalessa gave a target of 153 runs by losing 8 wickets in 15 overs, wherein Nitin Sharma made 55 runs and Deepak scored 37 runs. From the bowling side, Farqan took 3 wickets and Vinay Manhas got 2 wickets. In reply, Vinay Manhas’s 82 runs off 40 balls and Kamran Malik’s 42 runs helped Royal to register win over Garden by 7 wickets.
Vinay Manhas was awarded with man of the match, while Nitin Sharma of Garden was announced as best batsman of the tournament and Rahul Manhas of Royal adjudged as the best bowler of the tournament, besides Uttam Thakur was the best wicket keeper of the tournament.
Ex MLA, Daleep Singh Parihar, SDM Gandoh Bhalessa Arun Kumar Badyal, 4RR Major Pryank, Range Officer, Suresh Jamwal, Principal HSS Gandoh Ayoub Shiekh, President Contractor Association, Social worker Mohinder Singh, ZSPO Sallauldin Mir, Ayoub Zargar and Abid Zargar witnessed the final along with Government officials of Sub Division Bhalessa and gave away the prizes to the winners.
SHCT Chairman Vinay Thakur appealed to the general public to join hands with the local administration to curb drug menace from the society.
