RRaSH Motion Pictures wins best play, best female actor, best director award

JAMMU, Apr 21: Play ‘Bobby’ written by Vijay Tendulkar, Directed and Adapted in Dogri by Ravinder Sharma was declared best play of the  Summer Short Play Festival 2015, organized by  Samooh Theatre Jammu and Society for Environment, Culture and Modern Art.
The adjudicators, senior actors JR Sagar and Arvind Anand, declared “Bobby” performed by RRaSh Motion Pictures as the best Production of the Festival.
Aditi Aryan, was adjudged the best actor in female category for her role as Bobby, while Ravinder Sharma, Director RRaSh Motion Pictures was declared the best Director of the Festival.
Certificates of merit in acting were awarded to Neha Sharma for the role of Mickey, Samdhish for the role of Birbal and Gautam Kumar for the role of Joker in the play ‘Bobby’.
Congratulating the winning artists, the chief guest of the function, Sat Pal C.A, MLA, Jammu West hoped that the awards would encourage artistes to strive for further excellence.
He also promised to extend all possible help to the theatre community.
The contribution of Dr Sudhir Mahajan, Dr Kamal Sharma, Er Vijay Sharma, Seema Devi and Sapna Soni for success of the Festival is laudable.
