SRINAGAR, June 8: Government today revealed that over Rs. 12,000 lakh has been released by Finance Department under 13th Finance Commission Award during the financial year 2015-2016.
In a written reply to a question of MLA Rajiv Jasrotia in Lower House, Minister Incharge Rural Development Department and PR said an amount of Rs. 12233.35 lakh has been released by Finance Department under 13th Finance Commission Award during the financial year 2015-2016 including Rs. 2875.92 lakh for Kashmir and Rs. 3076.27 lakh for Jammu division.
“Rs 2875.92 lakh funds sanctioned by Administrative Department to Directorate of Rural Development Kashmir for 2015-2016 and Rs 2705.92 lakh in favour of executing agency/ Districts for Kashmir division,” the Minister stated.
For Jammu Division Rs 3076.27 lakh were sanctioned by Administrative Department to Directorate of Rural Development Jammu for the year 2015-16 and Rs 3076.27 lakh was released in favour of executing agency, the Minister further stated.
