JAMMU, Jan 2: Superb all round performance by Rajesh Khatri both with bat and ball guided RSCC to enter the finals of Veteran Cup by defeating Jhelum CC, being played at KC Sports Club, here today.
Batting first, Jhelum CC made 129 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, wherein Susheetal made 53 runs, while Miskeen scored 24 runs. From the bowling side, Rajesh took 2 important wickets, while Amit got 3 wickets.
In reply, RSCC chased the target in 18.1 overs. Rajesh Khatri made highest 35 runs, while Susheel and Sumit contributed 20 runs each and Sanjay scored 19 runs. From the bowling side, Deepak Decker took 2 wickets, while Sanjay and Kuldeep shared 1wicket each. Rajesh Khatri was declared as man of the match for his all round performance.
RSCC will lock horns with SCC on Sunday.
