JAMMU, June 20: Superb all round performance by Rajesh Salhotra helped RSCC to beat Vinayka CC and sailed into finals of the tournament, being played at KC Sports Club Ground, here today.
Batting first, Vinayaka CC made 143 runs by losing 6 wickets in the stipulated overs. Rakesh made highest 39 runs, while Sunil and Rohan secured 26 runs each. From the bowling side, Rajesh Salhotra took 3 important wickets, while Amit and Sandeep got 2 wickets each.
In reply, RSCC chased the target in 18.1overs wherein Rajesh Salhotra made highest 68 runs in 44 balls. Sanjay made 33 runs. Rajesh Salhotra was declared as man of the match for his all round performance.
