The delegation also urged the RTI Chief to take up the issue of appointment of two other Information Commissioners with the Government so that pending cases of appeals and complaints before the Commission are disposed of expeditiously. They also asked the CIC to direct the Government functionaries and other public authorities to start RTI sensitization programs for officers and general public as well, as per the mandate of section 23 of Jammu and Kashmir Right To Information Act, 2009.
