Doda, Sept 16: Rural Sports Competition of Block Bhagwah under Rajiv Khel Abhiyan (RGKA) in the disciplines of Kabbdi Kho kho and Valleyball Concluded at Govt Hr Sec.School Bhagwah here Hundreds of students and non students drawn from the remote hilly area of block Bhagwah participated in the block level tournament.
Rashtriya Rifle Battalion Doda , Bhagwah company commander was the guest on the inaugural ceremony which was attended by large number of local people, Sarpanches and Panches of the area. This Centrally Sponsored scheme has been made operational in the state under the direction of Director General Youth Services & Sport Jahangir Mir.
This meet was conducted under the over all supervision of S R Kotwal District Youth Services & Sports Officer Doda.The event was officiated by a team of officials of the Department including Ram Singh ZEPO Bhagwah, Bhanu Partap Singh, Mohinder Singh, Aftab Alam, Ajaz Ahmed, Girdhari Lal, Balkan Singh, Kushal Singh and Balwant Singh, Kastigarh Kabaddi Panchayat Kabaddi competition.
