SAMBA, Sept 18: Inter Block District Level Rural Sports meet under RGKA for boys and girls was concluded at Sports Stadium, here today.
The tournament was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports under the patronage of Jahangir Mir, Director General Youth Services and Sports and under the overall supervision of District Youth Services Sports Officer Samba, Subash Chander Bhardwaj.
A total of 513 players including boys and girls from all over the district participated in Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Athletics and Badminton events.
Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports was the chief guest on the occasion and Ajeet Kumar, Chief Horticulture Officer, Samba was the guest of honour.
The matches were officiated by Anirudh Singh Slathia, Kulbir Singh, Sandeep Singh and Zorawar Singh Sambyal.
