Russia’s Jt military exercise with Pak a big failure of NDA’s foreign policy: Cong

NEW DELHI, Sept 24:   The Congress today said Russia’s joint military exercise with Pakistan was a big failure of the NDA Government’s foreign policy.
Talking to reporters here, senior Congress leader and former Defence Minister A K Antony said,”Since India’s Independence in 1947, the erstwhile Soviet Union and thereafter, Russia, has been a staunch ally of India.
Russia always held joint military exercises with India. It is for the first time that Russia is having a joint military exercise with Pakistan.”
He added, ”It is a big failure of the NDA Government’s foreign policy.” (UNI)
