KATHUA, Dec 21: In the ongoing 11th Police Martyr’s Memorial North Zone T-20 Cricket Championship, being played at Sports Stadium, wherein Sabhi CC Hoshiarpur and Haryana Cricket Academy scripted win by beating DPS Himachal and GSI Tiger Srinagar by 85 runs and 6 wickets respectively, here today.
On day-3, the 1st match was played between Sabhi Cricket Club Hoshiarpur and DPS Himachal wherein Sabhi Cricket Club Hoshiarpur team won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 216 runs in stipulated 20 overs by 4 wickets. Dhruv Singh made 81 runs and Prince scored 54 runs and both of them remained unbeaten.
In reply, DPS Himachal could not chase the target wherein Yuram scored 46 runs. Dhruv Singh was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance (81 runs and 3 wickets).
In 2nd match, which was played between GSI Tiger Srinagar and Haryana Cricket Academy wherein GSI Tiger Srinagar won the toss and chose to bat first and scored 78 runs in 16.5 overs. Ankush Nagar made highest runs (32 runs).
In reply, Haryana CA easily chased the target in just 15.5 overs by losing 4 wickets and registered 6 wickets win over GSI Tiger. Kapil scored 17 runs, while Sahil Dutt was declared as man of the match for his brilliant bowling spell who took 4 wickets conceding 25 runs in 3.5 overs.
