JAMMU, Jan 17: Outplaying the formidable side of Haryana Police team, skippered by International cricketer Joginder Sharma by a big margin of 95 runs in the semifinals, Sabi Cricket Club Hoshiarpur  (SCCH) entered the finals of the ongoing 4th Police Martyrs’ Memorial North Zone T20 Cricket Tournament at District Sports Stadium Kathua today.
Earlier, SCCH won the toss and decided to bat first.  Batting first, SCCH scored a decent total of 162 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Chetan was the top scorer with 47 runs off 36 balls, which included 2 fours and 4 sixes, while Ravi contributed 46 runs in 33 balls, with 4 fours and 2 sixes. For Haryana Police, Joginder Sharma   was the pick of the bowlers, who took 3 wickets in his 4 overs.
In reply, Haryana Police bundled out for a paltry total of 67 runs in 12.3 overs, thus lost the match by a big margin of 95 runs. Kuldeep  was the only batsman to cross double figures, scoring 12 runs. For SCCH, Hanery scalped 4 wickets in his 3 overs by conceding 23 runs. The man of match trophy was awarded to Hanery of SCCH for superb bowling display. He was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 5100 and man of match trophy by KC Sharma of  CTM Kathua.
On the occasion, a memento was presented to International cricketer Joginder Sharma of Haryana Police by SP Kathua.
The final match of the Tournament will be held on January 19, 2014, wherein Sabi Cricket Club Hoshiarpur will take on Vickey XI Pathankot.
