JAMMU, June 11: Annual Day-cum-Prize Distribution Function was held at Sacred Heart College of Education, Paloura, here today.
Rajni Bala, Chairperson of the College was the chief guest, while Managing Director of the College, Hari Singh Chib was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Dr K K Tiwari, Principal of the College readout the annual report, highlighting the prominent activities and achievements of the College during this academic year. The prize distribution function was also held in which the chief guest distributed prizes and certificates among the students who excelled in different co-curricular activities, which included Rangoli competition and sports events including kabbadi, kho-kho, chess, tug of war and badminton.
The winners of the tug of war included Arvind Sambyal, Jeevan Lal, Manmohan, Sunil Kumar and Nitesh Raina, while the winners of kho-kho included Sunil, Minkal, Vishal, Vimal and Nitesh.
The winner of chess competition was Sudhir Chauhan, while Arvind Sambyal got certificate in State Level Seminar.
Similarly Poonam Sakshi, Nisha Kalla and Rohail Khajuria got participation certificate in Inter-College Quiz Competition held at G C W Gandhi Nagar.
Rajni Bala, Hari Singh Chib and Dr K K Tiwari spoke on the occasion alongwith some staff members including Prof Jyoti Sharma, Prof Dev Chhaya, Prof Neha Sharma, Prof Kiran Manhas and Prof Sheetal Khajuria, who also shared their views.
The Programme was organized by Prof Sonika Anand and Prof Sheetal Khajuria.
