SRINAGAR, Feb 15: Tanvir Sadiq, Chief Spokesperson of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference and MLA Zadibal, unveiled the logo and merchandise for the upcoming 9th National Snowshoe Championship.
During the event, Sadiq highlighted the Jammu and Kashmir Government’s dedication to transform Sonamarg into a premier winter sports destination. He emphasized the Government’s commitment to promoting winter sports in the region by unveiling the championship’s logo and merchandise.
Sadiq also commended sports personalities Dr. Altaf-Ur-Rehman, international athlete Muzamil Hussain Mir and Ahsan Ali for their exceptional contributions to sports. He reiterated the Government’s pledge to develop Sonamarg as a hub for winter sports and invest in eco-friendly infrastructure to host national and international winter sports events in the future.
