JAMMU, Nov 29: Sahil Aggarwal has been appointed as the CEO/Chief Patron of the Muay Thai Association of Jammu & Kashmir. This appointment follows the New Sports Code 2024, which requires state associations to have a designated head for improved leadership and governance.
The handout mentioned that Aggarwal is expected to play a pivotal role in the growth of Muay Thai in the region. His leadership is seen as a crucial step toward strengthening the Association and providing better opportunities for athletes. The Muay Thai Association is affiliated with the United Muay Thai Association of India and is recognized globally, including by the International Olympic Committee.
