JAMMU, Nov 26: On the third day of the ongoing sports week at Nav Yug Higher Secondary School, Sahil and Goverdhan of class 10th and Deepak of class 8th emerged winners in the Chess event, on the third day today.
In Badminton, Kunal, Rohit, Akash, Shagun, Puneet, Reshiwar, Aditya and Hritika reached quarter final in boys, whereas, in girls category, Barbie and Nisha Koul of class 9th will clash in the summit tomorrow.
In three leg race, Ashish Verma and Rahil Rajput emerged winner in junior group category, whereas, Harshita and Riya were declared runner-up. In sub junior group, Ansh and Mukul were declared winner, whereas, Sumit and Bhuvaneshwar, Kartavya and Ansh secured second and third positions.
In relay race, Rachit and Kajal from sub junior category emerged winners, while, Riya and Sumit were declared runner-up.
In junior group, Anshika and Rohit were declared winner, whereas, Sakshi and Rohit were declared runner-up.
