Sahil to take on Anish in finals of Sub Junior category today

UDHAMPUR, Dec 2: Sahil will take on Anish in the finals of the Sub Junior category of District Table Tennis Championship organised by District Table Tennis Association under the aegis of J&K Table Tennis Association and J&K Sports Council, at Badminton Hall, Mini Stadium, here tomorrow.
Earlier, in the semifinals of the Sub Junior category, Sahil thrashed Ambresh, whereas, Anish outplayed Lokinder.
In senior finals, Ankit will take on Rohit. Earlier, in the semifinals round, Ankit trounced Tarun, whereas, Rohit Paul stunned Sunny.
In junior girls final, Ashima will clash with Purvi. Earlier, in semis, Ashima beat Tavi, whereas, Purvi routed Parul.
In junior girls, Purvi trounced Akshima by 2-1 sets.
On the occasion, Yash Paul Sharma, District Social Welfare Officer was the chief guest, while, Sunil Sharma, President, District Table Tennis Association, Vinod Baru, general secretary and other members of the association were also present.
The matches were officiated by Sanjeev Kumar, Tarun Magotra, Vikrant and Ankit.
