JAMMU, July 8: Sports Authority of India is holding selection trials to induct day boarders in various day boarding schemes being run at different places in the State.
As per the organizers, the day boarders will be inducted in the disciplines of basketball, football and hockey.
While the trials for basketball boys and girls will be held at Mini Stadium Parade on July 10 and 11, 2013, the trials for football boys would be held on the same date at the same venue.
However, the trials for hockey boys and girls would be held at Sports Stadium Poonch on July 13 and 14, 2013 and the trials for hockey boys will be held at High School Singh Pora on July 16 and 17, 2013.
According to the admission qualification, the age of the player should be in between 12 to 18 years, having medal at State and national level competitions.
The organizers have advised the players interested to take part in the trials along with original date of birth certificate and 4 pass-port size photographs.
