SAI opening extension centre at Bakshi Stadium

SRINAGAR, May 14: The Sports Authority of India in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council is opening an extension centre at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar to bring all-round development of youth and budding sportspersons of Kashmir division.
According to a handout issued here, the trials for admission to this centre will be held at Gindun Sports Centre, Raj Bagh Srinagar on May 25 and 26, 2015 in the disciplines of football and volleyball.
The interested players will have to report to In-charge, SAI extension centre, Satish Sharma at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar on May 25, 2015 at 9.30 am.
The eligibility for the admission is the candidate should be 12 to 18 years of age and a medal winner at State or National Level Championship or a talented sportsperson.
The organizers have advised the candidates to bring along with them 4 passport size photographs, besides documents in support of age, educational qualification and sports achievements.
All the expenses during the trials including boarding and lodging will be borne by the players.
