Sai Shyam Educational Society holds programme

JAMMU, Feb 8: Sai Shyam Educational Society celebrated its Foundation and Annual Day at its educational campus, with vibrant cultural performances from students of Sai Shyam College of Education and Sai Shyam Public Higher Secondary School. The performances highlighted important social issues such as drug addiction and other societal challenges.
Surinder Kumar, MLA Marh, was the chief guest and Balbir Lal, Chairman DDC Ghou-Manhasan, was the guest of honour. Other dignitaries included Rajinder Singh Chib, Ex-Chairman DDC Ghou-Manhasan, Jagdish Raj, Sarpanch Sandwan, Dolly Aarwal Tickoo from Sahitya Kala Academy, Dr. Sudhir Singh from Shiksha Sanskriti Uthan Nyas, Hardeep Singh, Ex-Councillor, Rampal, Krishan Lal, Ex-Vice Chairman DDC, and Dr. Rinku Tickoo.
The program began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries. Dr. Usha Tickoo, Director of the Society, welcomed the guests and spoke about the institution’s accomplishments.
Surinder Kumar praised the institution’s efforts in shaping the future of students, emphasizing the importance of moral education alongside academics. Awards were distributed to academic achievers from both the College of Education and the School for the session 2023-24. Best Debater, Best Performer, Most Disciplined, and Most Regular students, as well as staff members, were also honoured.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Sanjeev Kumar Pandita, Principal of Sai Shyam Public Higher Secondary School.
