Sainik Colony sails into next round in Football Tourney

JAMMU, Oct 13: Sainik Colony crushed Young Heroes and sailed into the next stage of the ongoing Senior Division Football League Tournament, organized by District Football Association (DFA) Jammu at GGM Science College ground, here today.
Sainik Colony defeated Young Heroes by 2-1 goals and registered berth in the next stage of the tournament.
Earlier, the match played between Param Football Club and Churchill Brothers ended in draw as players of both the teams exhibited marvelous skills and restricted each other to raise the scorecard.
The matches were officiated by Rooney, Amardeep Singh, Suresh Gupta, Sohan Lal and Koshal Kumar.
Among others, who witnessed league matches were RK Kohli, Chairman, organizing secretary, Narinder Gupta, Krishan Lal, Kundan Lal Gupta, Satpal Singh, Charan Dass, Harbans Lal and Rajesh Sumbria.
In tormorrow fixture, Young Sports will take on Churchill Brothers at 3.30 pm.
